1. atHome garden rooms are covered by our guarantee which is initiated once the final balance is paid in full. The terms of the guarantee are as follows:

1.2 Buildings constructed by atHome under ‘Permitted Development’ should not be used for livable accommodation. If used for livable accommodation the guarantee is void. Guarantee excludes normal ‘wear and tear’ and decorated surfaces.
1.3 Guarantee does not cover the effects of weather exposure on the colour of the external cladding. Siberian Larch will naturally weather to silver-grey unless treated. It is recommended that it is treated within four weeks of construction and every year after to preserve the original colour.
1.4 Door adjustments may occasionally be required which is not covered by the guarantee. Adjustments can be easily carried out by the owner, please contact our team who will be happy to give advice on how to do so.
1.5 Bending/warping or superficial cracking of the timber facade is not covered under guarantee; timber is a natural product and bending/superficial cracking may occur.
1.6 Guarantee claims should be made to atHome on discovery of the defect. Failure to report a fault immediately may invalidate your guarantee. Once accepted, a maintenance operative(s) will be assigned to remedy the defect at an agreed date and time free of charge. atHome will not reimburse payments made to third party repair contractors without prior written consent.
1.7 Accidental damage made by the customer is not covered in this guarantee.
1.8 atHome shall not be deemed liable for subsidence to the garden room or of the surrounding installation site unless such subsidence is caused by the negligence of atHome builders during installation.
1.9 atHome's liability shall not exceed the total purchase value of the product.
1.10 Any structural alteration made to the building by the customer or a third party instructed by the customer will invalidate your guarantee and as such any related remedial works will be chargeable.
